Sorry, but that's ridiculous. I would continue following you on twitter if there was even a remote chance that you'd reach 5,000 within a reasonable time frame (a year or several is not reasonable for a giveaway). Your entire twitter feed is just a bunch of links to your posts here so it's redundant for people who actually follow the blog.
Sorry, but I'm just calling it how I see it. I wish this giveaway would have been a bit more realistic. 1,000 followers would have been more understandable - at least those cameras wouldn't be old news by that point.
I thought I was being generous considering some companies (ex: sugarsync) are offering an iPad for every 10,000 new followers.
Things are definitely moving slower than I would have hoped, but I will do my best to speed things along.
I'm sorry you feel burdened by having to wait for a chance to win a free camera. I know many people who would be thankful just for the chance to win one.
