Did you know that the photos you see from outer space are not straight from camera? Me neither. Apparently, it is not uncommon for NASA to enhance their images in Photoshop before releasing them to the public. Watch their editing process in the following video.

Hubble images are made, not born. Images must be woven together from the incoming data from the cameras, cleaned up and given colors that bring out features that eyes would otherwise miss.
