In case you needed another reminder as to why Iceland should be your #1 on your list of places to travel, we present the following video. Shot over a period of 17 days, the photographer traveled 2900 miles and took more than 38,000 images of the beautiful countryside. The video was shot in the month of June, at a time when the sun never fully sets, hence the title Midnight Sun.
Midnight Sun: A natural phenomenon occurring in the summer months north of the Arctic Circle and south of the Antarctic Circle where the sun never fully sets and remains visible 24 hours a day.
This short time lapse film was shot during the Icelandic Midnight Sun in June of 2011.
