This is only the second time I have seen a video of bioluminescence in water. What a treat it must be to surf at night with the natural glow of the waves. All I can say is the world is a mysterious and wonderful place. This video is best viewed with the lights off!

This is truly a wonder of nature.
The night glow of the red tide we just had was truly mesmerizing. When I first saw it, I told everyone to go and look at it. Some of my friends reported seeing dolphins frolicking in the glowing waves at night.
When this happens next time, shoot me an e-mail when you are planning on paddling out in it. I want to come an join in. The week before, I didn't want to go out by myself in the dark as there was almost no moon to light things up just a bit. But, that was perhaps the best part and made us enjoy the wave glow so much this tide around.
