Is it fair to sue your wedding photographer because he missed a couple shots? Perhaps.
Is it reasonable to sue your wedding photographer for something that happened 6 years ago? Perhaps.
Is it reasonable to sue for $48,000 so that you can recreate your wedding day? Probably not.
And what if I told you that plaintiff and his wife had already divorced and she has since returned to her home country of Latvia? Yes you read that right.
I’m surprised lawsuits like this are even allowed to make it in the system. I feel awful for the photography studio who took on this wedding, as they have had to pony up more than $50,000 in legal fees thus far.
