1000 people recently stripped off all their clothes for the sake of photography. Spencer Tunick, who is famous for his large scale portraits, was in Isreal taking photographs of people floating in the Dead Sea. Watch two newscasts about the photo shoot after the break. (Possibly NSFW)

Artistic Display of Female Tennis Players in Slow Motion

The following video was shot by Santa Barbara photographer Dewey Nicks and features 40 of the most popular female tennis players. It was shot with a Phantom EFX camera, at 600 frames per second. The player’s strokes are complemented by smoke and sparkles in a video I can only describe as “poetry in motion”.

My Daguerreotype Boyfriend

mydaguerreotypeboyfriend is a website that keeps track of old photographs of men in seductive poses. For those who don’t know, a Deguerreotype (named after Louis Daguerre) was one of the first commercially successful photographic techniques, consisting of a metal plate which was coated with light sensitive chemicals.
