It was more than a year ago that we promised to let you know when Tom Lowe’s Timescapes film was complete. Ready for it? The DVD is now available for pre-order. Prices start at $14.95 for standard DVD, but there are also Special and Platinum editions available which feature benefits such as having your name in the film credits and your name being listed as an Associate Producer on imdb. One Second Film Festival

How much can be said in one second? Not much in terms of words, but certainly a lot in terms of emotions. The following video shows the first round submissions of the One Second Film Festival. Submissions for the 3rd round are open from November 16th – December 13th, 2011.

Dot: The World's Smallest Stop Motion Animated Character

The following is a short film which stars a girl named Dot who is only 9mm tall. It was shot using a Nokia N8 with a microscopic attachment. The video has Dot facing a handful of obstacles as she runs through a microscopic world. The figurines were created with a 3D printer, and are so small that they had to be painted using a microscope.

Tick Tock - A Short Film By Ien Chi

How do you introduce a video without giving away that vital piece of information that brings it all together? I guess I just did. The following short film titled Tick Tock was created by Ien Chi, with a 5d mark ii & a 24-70mm lens on a steadicam merlin. I challenge you to watch it twice, as once you figure out what it’s all about, the experience of watching this film changes entirely.
