They claim you can save up to 90% off certain products or services and even offer a money back guarantee in the event you are not satisfied with your purchase. It looks like they are still a relatively new site, but we’ve signed up to keep an eye out for great deals!

Adorama has an interactive website which allows you to find a camera bag based on the equipment you own. Simply pick your camera, lenses and accessories from a menu, and the Lowepro Bagfinder will list all the bags that are capable of holding all your gear. If you are looking to make a major purchase, and have some wiggle room in terms of when to buy, you might be interested in Based on years of data, they are able to accurately determine if the price of a specific product will increase or decrease depending on the current price, as well as when the next model is expected to be released. Xerox Aesthetic Quality Image Search

Xerox is currently working on software that is able to determine if a photograph has good or bad aesthetic quality. This is obviously a difficult task considering the plethora of topics, as well as having to determine what makes a photograph aesthetically pleasing. Of course there will be photographs marked as bad that you may think look good, or vice versa, but I still think it is a challenge worth pursuing.


Pinterest is an online “pinboard” that allows you to gather all the interesting things you find from all over the internet. You can organize pages by topics and other users are able to “repin” anything you post. The website has had incredible growth since June, going from 20 million pageviews to 421 million in October. We had a look at the photography pinboard, and there is lots of interesting content. They are still in Beta phase however, so you will need an invitation in order to create an account.

Google+ Adds Creative Kit for Advanced Photo Editing

It looks like Google+ is still adding features into their new social network. Yesterday they announced 4 new services, including one called Creative Kit. Now you can edit your photographs on Google+ using tools such as crop & sharpen, as well as a numerous filter effects.
